God needs perfect knowledge in order to be God, which includes knowing now exactly how future events will unfold. Does this mean that God knows everything about what is to come? How could God ‘see’ the future? If the future doesn’t yet exist, then there is nothing to know right now. But if God cannot know the future, is God’s providence in doubt, God’s control left unsure?
