Polaris Dawn is days away from launch, it’ll carry a crew of 4 astronauts on a mission that will take them high above the altitude of the space station, letting them see more of the Earth than astronauts have seen in decades. However the true highlight will be the first EVA by a private astronaut, a space walk by an adventurer who has not only paid to perform this, but has worked with the engineers to develop the technology.
