The system is stupid by design. It selects for obedience rather than creativity and critical thought. Noam Chomsky is a political figure in American discourse, but the belief that the education system is broken is one of the most popular issues in American political life. This system has bred dissatisfaction and distrust by parents, kids, and teachers alike. It is our responsibility to work for and iterate on better solutions for our kids — to not waste their precious youth making them less creative, less curious, and less individual.
