Is Most Fruit ‘Natural’ or ‘Man Made’

Most of the food you eat isn’t natural. Not even the organic stuff.
To understand what is natural, we must look at what exists in nature without human intervention. When we do, it becomes clear that many of the fruits and vegetables we regularly eat do not exist in their modern form in the wild. This includes grapefruits, oranges, bananas, lemons, iceberg lettuce, most tomatoes, carrots, cucumbers, corn, seedless grapes, peanuts, cauliflower, peas, eggplant, strawberries, bell peppers, and almonds, among others.

While these foods originated from natural plants, centuries of selective breeding have significantly altered their structure, sugar content, and nutrient composition, resulting in the varieties we see today.

Recognizing this distinction is essential when evaluating food quality and making informed dietary choices. Navigating the modern food landscape can be challenging—especially when so much of what we eat has been altered from its natural state.

This is especially disheartening when you’re on a health journey and want to consume the best possible foods for your body.

To support your healing process, I have created a protocol. Access it by clicking the link below.
