On 23 April 2007, during an afternoon flight toward Alderney, Aurigny Captain Ray Bowyer reported observing two bright objects (often described as yellow/orange) that appeared stationary for several minutes. He reported the observation to air traffic control during the event and was informed that another pilot (Blue Islands) had reported a similar object. Passengers on the Aurigny aircraft also reported seeing unusual colored lights. The incident later appeared as a logged entry within publicly released UK government UFO reporting material.
