*Neil Gillman* (1933 – 2017) was an American rabbi, philosopher, and leading voice in Conservative Judaism. He taught Jewish philosophy at the Jewish Theological Seminary of America and helped shape modern Conservative Jewish thought through his writings and scholarship.
