We’re now approaching seven months of a war that should never have been started, by a President who was elected on “no new wars.” Seven months of ‘deadlines’ and ‘red lines’ and ‘big decisions’ about committing war crimes. Seven months of being told that Iran is “begging for a deal” and has been “destroyed.” None of this has been cost-free for America. The costs are already crippling. And with each day that gets tacked onto this war, the costs head towards devastation.
