I was in the middle of an intense game of croquet in my backyard, trying to outwit my overly competitive neighbor, when I noticed something peculiar. Out of nowhere, this enormous, glistening silver orb descended silently and hovered just above the azaleas. It wasn’t like anything I’d ever seen – not even close. It had this weird swirling pattern that seemed to change as you looked at it, almost hypnotic. As if the game wasn’t already tense, now we had an uninvited guest from who-knows-where! My neighbor, who’s usually all bluster and bravado, was as speechless as I was. The orb just hung there for a good five minutes, with this soft hum that seemed to resonate through the air and into our bones. It felt like it was watching us, maybe even studying us. Then, just as suddenly as it arrived, it zipped off towards the horizon, leaving us with nothing but an eerie calm and a whole lot of questions.
